Dare To Dream Again
Jamie, Kennedy, Kassidy and I would like to express our deep appreciation for all those who have helped during our transition to Wooster. You have made us feel welcome and the transition easy for our entire family. We know God has a tremendous plan for Evangel Assembly of God and we are excited to be a part of what He is doing.
The month of September will be an exciting time of transition and vision building for our church. I will be sharing a series of messages, “Dare To Dream Again”. What dreams has God given you for your future, family, friends and church? I believe when we were created God place in each of us a destiny and that destiny begins with a dream. In Philippians 1:6 it say, “Being confident of this, the he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”. What has God begun in you, in your family and in your church that you are still waiting for its completion? According to the scripture God desires to fulfill the dreams He has given you. It is safe to say, God is not alright with fulfilling your dream halfway but He desires to “Complete every good Work”.
Evangel Assembly of God has a full rich history in Wooster. I believe our best days are still in front of us. In Hebrew we read, “God is the author and finisher of our faith”. God has written a great story in Evangel Assembly of God and there is more of the story to be told.
My challenge for this church family is, Dare To Dream Again for our church and community! As we create a culture that is Committed to having Compassion for the lost, Connection with the body, Commissioning of the believers, God will continue to write and amazing story for Evangel.
Visiting a new church can be somewhat intimidating. Most of us feel a bit uneasy because we are not quite sure what to expect. We don't want to be singled out and we certainly don't want to do something that might draw undue attention to ourselves. Please know that we totally understand those feelings and want you to be at ease about visiting here at Evangel. We won't make you stand. We'll welcome you as friends.
As you enter the building, you'll be met by smiling people who will greet you, offer you a copy of our weekly bulletin and answer any questions you might have about where the service will be held or about childcare services.
You'll notice that our church family is made up of people of all ages. We don't have a dress code and most prefer to be casual. Just come as you are!
Our service begins at 10:30 a.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes. We enjoy singing praises and you'll find our musical style to be contemporary. A speaker will then share a message from the Bible that we believe will be encouraging and helpful to you as you face the challenges of life. In fact, our aim is to be a church that is all about "Embracing the Life-Changing Power of God's Spirit."
Childcare is available during our services. Qualified workers staff our Nursery (for children 6 months through 3 years of age) and we have an outstanding Kid's Church program for kids 3 through 12 that takes place simultaneously with the worship service.
Thanks for stopping by our website. Browse around and learn more about us and by all means feel free to contact us if we can be of help to you. We hope to meet you personally in the near future.
